Mass loaded vinyl barrier is a high performance noise blocking material installed on or around active noise sources. Designed to provide exceptional Sound Transmission Coefficient (STC), material is available in 0.5, 1.0 and 2.0 pound per square foot models. Standard roll size is 54″ wide by 30″ long.
Quilted fiberglass absorbers are lightweight highly absorptive and durable panels. Panels range from 1” to 4” thick models up to 4′ x 25′ in size. Hanging Grommets, Mating Velcro and other hardware can be sewn into the panels to meet your installation requirements. Composite systems include mass loaded vinyl barriers integrated into the design to both absorb and block sound. This combination features the reduction in sound from a noise source while restoring a safe and efficient work environment. Exterior rated products and high abuse models are also available.
We can provide a heavy duty track system to support the acoustical sound panels. These can be attached directly to the frame work or can be installed to rollers so that the panels can be opened and closed for ease of use. This is a great support system for the quilted sound panels around equipment. We provide an engineered and seismically compliant design specific to each piece of equipment being enclosed.
Ceiling baffles in a variety of finishes can be provided to solve the overall noise issue within a facility. Suspension systems include direct hung to a wire rope array so that the panels can be placed properly for maximum performance. Finishes can be provided to deal with the harshest conditions, including heat. Since baffles absorb sound from all directions, these are a very practical way of dealing with noise.
From the simplest pipe wrap to a custom engineered multi-layer assembly, our pipe and duct lagging systems integrate a blocking layer and an absorbing / decoupling layer to help stop the sound coming from pipes or ductwork. We can often cut the perceived sound in half with these treatments. Products include putty tape and pads, foil faced viscoelastic polymers, and foil clad and fiberglass lined mass loaded vinyl composites.
If your equipment can use a baffle, louver or muffler to help quiet it down, we can provide these. They will be custom fit to your equipment and designed to reduce the noise to a practical level. Interior and exterior rated versions are available.
When your equipment or building is being impacted by vibration or transmitted sound, we can help solve these issues with dampening and isolating products. Dampening products include PSA dampening sheets, paint on products and laminated products. Isolating products include isolation pads, rubber supports, hangers and clips, spring supports and hangers, and air bag systems.
Whether it is an interior, exterior or roof top noise wall we can design and deliver a solution that will meet your needs. Our designs incorporate absorption as well as noise blocking aspects. Wind loads, structural concerns and design criteria are all factored into the delivered product.
